Puppies
The Birth
A few days before the litter is expected to be born the expectant mom is hardly lost sight of.
When the contractions have started the male is getting separated. During the birth the female is constantly under supervision so in case of complications we can step in immediately.
When all puppies are born, the mother gets a litter box with fresh blankets. The litterbox is located in a quiet place so that she and her Pups can recover from the birth.
Raising
After 14 days it's time for the first deworming for mom and the Pups. More worming treatments follow at intervals of 14 days.
The puppies will be integrated into the daily routine and get to know everyday sounds.
With about 4-5 weeks the puppies are accustomed to soaked puppy food.
Depending on the weather, the puppies are allowed to explore the garden with their parents at the age of 6 weeks. From now on they are let out several times a day.
When they are 8 weeks old they are introduced to the vet to get chipped and vaccinated. They are also examined in detail and they receive a veterinary health certificate.
At the age of 10 weeks we are giving them, often heavy heartedly to their new owners, where they are hopefully living a long and happy dog life.
